Quick post to say that we have brought on a new, experienced member of staff to help, primarily with the long lets.
Andrew says, “After my first week with Evergreen I can say I’m already very impressed with the properties I’ve visited thus far, and I’ve met some of our lovely tenants. I hope to develop strong relationships with all our tenants and of course our landlords too!
So, a bit about me… I have 15 years housing experience, 12 with the City of Edinburgh Council working in Homelessness and Temporary Accommodation. Following that I spent three years at Link Housing Association, working with the Private Sector Leasing team (PSL). This scheme was commissioned by the City of Edinburgh Council, designed to utilise the private market in Edinburgh to provide interim accommodation for those assessed as homeless. This reduces the pressures on temporary accommodation (B&B, hostel etc) and provides a more stable residence for the homeless until such time as they are offered permanent accommodation.
I have a keen interest in housing legislation, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service delivery.
I am delighted to be part of the Evergreen team and I am looking forward this next chapter in my career.”
