Everyone loves to know what properties are worth in desirable locations. As the least deprived area in Scotland, Stockbridge is certainly desirable! Evergreen Property has done a bit of research to find out just which streets in Stockbridge have the highest average property value right now.
The data used here has been collected from Zoopla and the Scottish Land Registry and takes into account residential properties only. It’s been a really interesting undertaking to see how our wee neighbourhood has been getting on.
Evergreen Property recently spoke with Andy Milne, a Partner at DM Hall Chartered Surveyors, about what was happening to Property Valuations this side of the lockdown. Evergreen were reassured massively because he said Home Report Valuations have been consistent with those produced pre-lockdown. The demand is there and so there’s been no need to change anything.
As you will see in this list, the past three months have been extremely positive for all involved in the property market. Temporary governmental changes to LBTT coupled with the public’s desire to get on with things has fuelled the market’s recovery. Evergreen predict this to continue for the foreseeable.
