We love coffee at Evergreen, and have hand picked our top 3 coffee spots in Edinburgh.
With the ubiquitous nature of coffee in our daily lives now, you would be mistaken there is no difference between coffees. Nothing could be further from the truth. Although every Costa Coffee Flat White should taste the same, the Costa Flat White, is different to Starbucks and both are different from the wonderful independent coffee shops we can now boast across Edinburgh.
- Artisan Roast
It would be wrong for us not to recommend a coffee shop that we frequent ourselves and, Artisan Roast, with several cafes across the city now, have a fabulous cafe in Stockbridge which makes simply delicious coffee. Served in an informal atmosphere and can be accompanied by something calorific too! You will not go wrong with Artisan Roast – the only problem may be the wide choice available.

2. Elephant House Cafe
No coffee list in Edinburgh would be complete without mention of Edinburgh’s most famous cafe!
Made famous as a place of inspiration for writers, notably JK Rowling, The Elephant House can be sometimes hectic and crowded during the peak times; however, persevere and you may find yourself sipping your latte at a quieter time and get an insight, a vision, something to help you write that novel that has been trapped in you, waiting to get out.

3. Cafe Noir
A great spot at the South end of Palmerston Place in the West End. Perfect for a quick coffee and cake before boarding your train at Haymarket!
Wherever you find yourself in Edinburgh, you will find that you are not far away from a great coffee!
